Philadelphia Concourse Improvements
Repair, replacement and improvements of architectural features and finishes, at the Concourse Level, of PATCO stations in Philadelphia. [more]
City Hall, Camden Concourse Improvements
This project will repair, replace and improve architectural features and finishes, at the Concourse Level, of the PATCO City Hall stations in Camden. This work will be done in coordination with parallel work in the City of Philadelphia to produce a uniform appearance in both the "Paid" and "Un-Paid" areas. The upgrades include, new lighting, new floors, paint, and new signage. [more]
Tunnel Standpipe Project
Installation of a standpipe system between subway stations for fire protection.
Transit Car Overhaul Program
A complete overhaul of the existing train cars to replace outdated systems with new technology while maintaining the major structural framing and external shells. [more]
Power Cable and Pole Line Replacement
Replacing wooden poles with new, more durable fiberglass poles, as well as replacing the 26.4KV and 2.4 KV power cables along the PATCO line between Lindenwold and Camden, New Jersey. In addition, fiber optic and other communications and signaling cables will be replaced as required to complete work in a manner minimally disruptive to the operation of the PATCO High Speed Line.
9th/10th & Locust Accessibility Upgrades
Installation of two new hydraulic elevators at PATCO's 9th & 10th streets and miscellaneous associated construction, including equipment rooms, stairway alterations and associated mechanical and electrical work. The elevators would enable mobility challenged customers to more easily travel to and from the station.
Bridge Painting & Structural Repairs
Rehabilitation of the existing superstructure and substructure for transit bridges and structures.
