The program is an effort to reward PATCO riders and support the region's business community.
FREEDOM to Save offers retailers, restaurants, service providers and other companies a unique opportunity to reach new customers. Program participants are offering discounts or other perks to users of the transit agency's new smart card fare collection system, the FREEDOM Card.
To notify customers of their involvement, these businesses are displaying window decals and counter signs.
