Attn: Woodcrest Station Customers

PATCO has endeavored to minimize the impact on customers during the stripping, recoating, and curing of the coating of the floor at Woodcrest Station.  Customers who might be sensitive to odors associated with this work may want to use an alternate station during this project, and all customers should be aware of the following temporary inconveniences. 

From 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 30  to 4 p.m., Sunday, August 2:

•  The "westbound" platform will be out of service.  All customers will use the "eastbound" platform.  Customers traveling westbound (toward Camden and Philadelphia) may board trains arriving in the center track. 
• The automatic sliding doors will be Out of Service.  Passengers requiring automatic doors should use Lindenwold Station during this time.
• Half the fare gates will be available for ingress/egress.

From 4 p.m., Sunday, August 2 through 9 a.m., Thursday, August 6, customers will have normal access to the station, and westbound trains will be accessed from the "westbound" platform.

From 9 a.m. on Thursday, August 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, August 8:

• Both platforms will be in service.
• On the eastbound platform, only the headhouse on the west end will be open.
• The elevator for the "eastbound" platform will be Out of Service.
• The wide fare gate, which accommodates bicycles, strollers, and wheelchairs, will be Out of Service.  Anyone needing the elevator and wide fare gate should use Lindenwold Station during this period.
• Half the narrow fare gates will be available for ingress/egress.
• Two ticket vending machines (TVMs) outside the paid area will be available; the TVM inside the paid area, which is often used as an alternate source for SEPTA transfers, will be Out of Service.
• The usual Call For Aid Phone will not be available; however, a temporary Call For Aid Phone will be available in an alternate location.

From 10 p.m., Saturday, August 8 through 9 a.m., Thursday, August 13, customers will have normal access to the station.

From 9 a.m., Thursday, August 13 to Saturday, August 15 (Revised as of 8/11/09):

• Both platforms will be in service.
• The wide fare gate, which accommodates bicycles, strollers, and wheelchairs, will be available. 
• Half the narrow fare gates will be available for ingress/egress.  
• Both elevators will be in service.  Both escalators will be Out of Service. 
• The stairways to the east end of each platform will be in service.  Stairways to the west end of the platforms will be Out of Service.
• One ticket vending machine (TVM) outside the paid area and one TVM inside the paid area will be available; two TVMs outside the paid area will be Out of Service.
• Station doors will be opened to dissipate the odor of this floor surfacing process.
