Fares
The distance you travel determines your fare. One-trip and two-trip (round trip) tickets can be purchased from self-service vending machines at each station.

Reduced Fare Program
Reduced Fare Program (RFP) FREEDOM cards are available to senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and Medicare card holders. See [ More Information ]
Child Fares
No additional charge for children under five years of age when accompanied by a fare-paying adult.
SEPTA Tickets
A reduced fare, round-trip ticket is available for $2.40 from self-service vending machines at PATCO stations in New Jersey. These tickets are valid on selected SEPTA bus and subway links in Center City Philadelphia. The info is as follows:

Broad Street Subway and Broad-Ridge Spur
Subway Surface Routes 10, 11, 13, 34, and 36
Bus routes C, 2, 9, 12, 21, 23, 27, 32, 33, 38, 42, 44, 47, 47M, 48, 61, and 121.

Sales Offices
For FREEDOM smart card service, stop at Broadway Station (Walter Rand Transportation Center) any weekday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Please note that the Service Center will not be open on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and the Christmas Day.
