Extra Eastbound PATCO Service After 76ers' Home Opener

PATCO will provide additional eastbound service following the Philadelphia 76ers' home opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Thursday, October 22, giving fans extra options for their trip back to South Jersey.

Two additional trains will depart 15th/16th and Locust Station at midnight and 12:20 a.m., bound for Lindenwold, N.J. After these trains pass through each station, the station will close for the remainder of the overnight period. Regular service will resume at 4:30 a.m. Friday, October 23.

"The excitement surrounding the 76ers' new season, following the additions of LeBron James and Jaylen Brown, is at an unprecedented level," said John D. Rink, PATCO General Manager. "PATCO is excited to give fans more opportunities to experience the action and enjoy everything Philadelphia has to offer."

Fans traveling from South Jersey can park at a PATCO station, take a quick trip into Philadelphia, and connect with SEPTA's Broad Street Line for service to NRG Station and the Xfinity Mobile Arean.

PATCO riders can also use Tap & Go to pay their fare directly at a fare gate with a contactless credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Riders should use the same card or device to enter and exit the PATCO system.

Providing riders with enhanced and expanded service to and from South Jersey and Center City Philadelphia is part of PATCO's ongoing system improvements, helping people experience all that the region has to offer during its biggest events of the year. PATCO recently launched its "We'll Take You There" campaign, inviting fans, business commuters and leisure travelers to ride PATCO and experience all the region has to offer.

"Whether it's game-day or commuting to the office, we want everyone to make PATCO part of their travel plans," said Rink. "We'll take you to your next experience."
