PATCO to Continue Current Weekday Overnight Service Schedule

Overnight closure provides dedicated time for station cleaning & maintenance

PATCO will continue its current weekday overnight service schedule into 2027, with no changes to the current timetable. Weekday owl service will remain suspended between midnight and 4:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, while weekend service will continue to operate 24 hours a day.

Under an agreement with the City of Philadelphia through February 2027, the city concourses providing access to PATCO stations will continue to close during the weekday overnights, allowing cleaning and maintenance in those areas to continue.

The uninterrupted work window allows crews to complete certain activities more efficiently while reducing the need for additional service disruptions at other times. Station deep cleaning and routine maintenance activities will also continue during the weekday overnight closures.

PATCO will continue monitoring ridership, operating needs, and system conditions while the current schedule remains in place. As it has in the past, PATCO may extend service on a case-by-case basis to accommodate major regional events and events at the Sports Complex.

Weekday Overnight Service

• Monday through Friday: No train service from midnight to 4:30 a.m. Stations closed.
• Last trains: Depart at 11:30 p.m.
• Service resumes: 4:30 a.m.
• Weekends: 24-hour service continues
