Service Plans for FIFA World Cup 2026 Matches in Philadelphia
PATCO is preparing to help fans travel to and from Philadelphia for FIFA World Cup 2026 matches at Lincoln Financial Field with enhanced service plans designed to accommodate increased ridership.
Regular PATCO fares will apply, with no changes to fare structure or payment options.
PATCO will operate service for all Philadelphia match days, with additional trains, increased frequency, and extended service based on anticipated demand for each event.
Planned Service Enhancements
Sunday, June 14
Cote d'Ivoire vs. Ecuador | 7 p.m.
PATCO will operate more frequent service than the typical Sunday schedule, with trains running every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. through 6:30 p.m. Additional standby equipment will be positioned to support post-game crowds if needed.
Friday, June 19 (Juneteenth Holiday)
Brazil vs. Haiti | 8:30 p.m.
PATCO will operate enhanced holiday service with increased train frequency throughout the day, extended overnight service, and additional trains available after the match to accommodate returning fans.
Monday, June 22
France vs. Iraq | 5 p.m.
PATCO will operate its normal weekday schedule using six-car trains to provide additional capacity.
Thursday, June 25
Curacao vs. Cote d'Ivoire | 4 p.m.
PATCO will operate its normal weekday schedule using six-car trains to provide additional capacity.
Saturday, June 27
Croatia vs. Ghana | 5 p.m.
PATCO will operate enhanced Saturday service, with trains running every 15 minutes from 7:30 a.m. through 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 4 (Independence Day / America 250 Celebration)
Round of 16 Match | 5 p.m.
PATCO will operate enhanced holiday service with trains running every 10 minutes from 10 a.m. through 11:30 p.m., with additional service and standby trains positioned to support both match attendees and Independence Day event crowds.
Getting to Philadelphia
PATCO offers more than 12,500 parking spaces across South Jersey, making it easy for fans to park and ride.
Customers traveling to the stadium complex can take PATCO into Center City Philadelphia and connect to SEPTA's Broad Street Line for direct service to Lincoln Financial Field.
