The Delaware River Port Authority and PATCO announce the launch of its improved employment site. The revamped and expanded employment section provides jobseekers with additional information regarding the Authority, its employment process and offers an email subscription service that allows jobseekers to sign up to receive notifications of job openings directly to their PC or PDA.
The employment section of the site was developed by staff to assist jobseekers in navigating through the employment process at the Authority. The site provides useful information about working at DRPA, its history and its commitment to diversity.
All available, jobs will be listed on DRPA’s website, www.drpa.org, and emailed to those who sign up for the email subscription service. To receive email notifications of job openings, you can sign up for the email subscription program at http://www.drpa.org/special/email_notification.html.
In addition, a dedicated jobs email address, jobs@drpa.org, has been created to address job-related questions or concerns. For those applicants who do not have access to a computer, please contact the Authority’s Human Resources Services Department by telephone at (215) 218-3750, extension 2223 or (856) 968-2253, extension 2223.
“It is our hope that the new employment section of the website will help educate jobseekers on the Authority and be a useful tool in understanding the job hunting process,” said John J. Matheussen, CEO of DRPA and President of PATCO.
This is an active site with new opportunities being added on an as needed basis. Jobseekers should check the site regularly for new employment postings.
“Using the web to locate qualified job applicants has become the norm,” said Toni P. Brown, DRPA Chief Administrative Officer. “With the introduction of the email subscription service, we are able to reach the large and diverse pool of job applicants that reside within Pennsylvania and New Jersey much faster.”
DRPA and PATCO are equal opportunity employers that are committed to ensuring all employees and applicants for employment are afforded an equal opportunity to pursue job opportunities to the fullest extent possible with the Authority.
