How Do I?

File a police report?

For questions regarding filing a police report contact DRPA Police Transit Unit communications 24 hours a day at 856-963-7995 or 7996. You may also dial “0” from any red “Call for Aid” phones that are located in all PATCO stations.

 


Obtain a copy of a police report?

For questions about obtaining a copy of a police report please call Central Police Records at 856-968-3351 or 3352 in NJ or 215-218-3750 Ext. 3351 or 3352 in PA.

 


Pay for a citation?

You can pay in person at the Municipal Court Clerk’s Office listed on the back of your citation anytime before your scheduled court appearance (which is located on the front of your citation). You may also mail a copy of your ticket and a check or money order Payable to the Municipal Court listed on the back of your citation DO NOT MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO PORT AUTHORITY. You have the option to plead not guilty and request a date for your appearance in court, contact the Municipal Court Clerk’s Office on the back of your citation. Any other questions regarding citations are to be directed to the municipal court listed on the back of your citation.

 


Inquire about a parking ticket?

For questions regarding parking tickets received on your vehicle contact the Court Clerk of the Municipality listed on the back of your ticket.

 


Inquire about an impounded vehicle?

All impounded vehicles are removed from DRPA/PATCO property by:

Hours for reclaiming vehicle are Monday through Friday 9AM to 3PM
Saturday 9AM to 1PM

To reclaim the vehicle, the owner or authorized agent of the owner must provide the following:

  1. DRPA release form (given to the operator at time of tow)
  2. Valid Registration
  3. Valid proof of insurance for vehicle towed
  4. Valid Driver’s License (if vehicle is being driven off lot)

In order to remove your vehicle all towing services rendered and storage fees must be paid.

Tow Fees Storage Fees
Cars and light trucks under 10k GVW 75.00* 15.00 per day
       
Trucks over 10k GVW 275.00 per hour* 50.00 per day

 

*Prices may vary based on extenuating circumstances. These include but are not limited to: accidents, highway clean up, winching, vehicles towing trailers, load spill clean ups, use of special equipment, etc.

Recover personal property?

The DRPA Police has procedures to retain, safeguard and eventually dispose of evidence and prisoner property. To have this property released back to you please follow the below procedures:

Evidence - After evidence is released by the prosecuting attorney (usually after trial), the owner must call Sgt. James Fischer at 856-968-3388 to make an appointment. The owner will need to come to:

Prisoner Property - The owner may call DRPA Police-Transit Unit communications at 856-963-7995 or 7996 to make an appointment. The owner will need to come to

You will need to provide indentification.

Found Property - is generally turned over to PATCO’s Lost and Found Department. You may pick up found property at the Lost and Found Department, which is located in Lindenwold Station. Office hours are 6:00AM to 2:00PM, Monday through Friday except holidays. To determine if your property has been located by any PATCO employee please call 856-772-6900, Option 4 in NJ or 215-922-4600 in PA during office hours.
