American Express Comes to PATCO

PATCO now accepts American Express for FREEDOM smart card transactions.

PATCO's FREEDOM smart cards are available from vending machines in any PATCO station.  A PATCO customer may purchase a FREEDOM card and add value to it using cash, American Express, VISA, or MasterCard (debit or credit). 

AutoLoad, the feature through which value is automatically added to one's FREEDOM card each time the balance dips below $5, is available to customers who provide credit card information to the FREEDOM Card Service Center.   To sign up for AutoLoad, print out the attached registration form and provide credit card information in the lower portion of the form.

If a customer loses his/her FREEDOM card, the balance available at the time the customer notifies PATCO of the loss can be transferred onto a replacement card, which the FREEDOM Card Service Center generates.  A $5 fee is assessed for the replacement card, but the remainder of the customer's balance is protected if the customer registers his/her card using the attached form.  To report a lost card, call 1-877-373-6777.

AutoLoad and Balance Protection are two free, convenient options available to PATCO FREEDOM smart card holders.
