Attn: Broadway and Ferry Avenue Customers - re Escalators

Parts are on order for the escalators at Ferry Avenue Station and Broadway Stations.

Special parts have been shipped from abroad and are expected to be received early during the week of October 4.  In the meantime, the customers at Broadway Station are encouraged to use the Broadway West escalator, which offers easy access to the River LINE, or either of the two elevators at that station.

To minimize the impact on our Ferry Avenue Station customers, the escalator maintenance contractor has been able to return the Ferry Avenue escalator to service several times while awaiting delivery of the part.  Regrettably consistent operation depends upon the replacement part.   We apologize for any inconvenience our customers may experience.
