As part of the concourse improvement project, the flooring immediately adjacent to the elevators at 15th/Locust Street Station will be replaced. This enhancement requires substantial time, including the need for materials to cure. To minimize the inconvenience to our customers, this work will be accomplished as quickly as possible.
The PATCO elevator from platform level to concourse level as well as the City elevator from concourse to street level will be out of service from 6 a.m. on Monday, August 22 through 5 a.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2011. (The time required to accomplish this phase of the project has been extended by a day because of storm-related factors.)
Customers who need full accessibility are reminded that elevators are available at 8th/Market Street Station.
Customers who are not in a wheelchair are reminded that an escalator is available at both 13th/Locust Street and 15th/Locust Street Stations from platform to concourse level. An elevator from concourse level to street level is available from 5 a.m. to midnight from the east side of the Broad Street concourse, just north of the Locust Street concourse.
Stairs are also available.
We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers during this construction project.
