PATCO High Speed Line Stations Get Spring Cleaning

Homeowners aren’t the only ones spring cleaning this year. The PATCO High Speed Line has partnered with Philadelphia’s Center City District for spring cleaning services at three of PATCO’s Center City Philadelphia stations. For the next three weeks, Center City District will be providing cleaning services at the concourse level for PATCO’s 8th and Market streets station and at PATCO’s Locust Street stations between 12th and 16th streets, including a portion on the block between 13th Street and Broad Street. Workers will pressure and hand wash floors, walls, ceilings and light fixtures, and remove graffiti. Disinfectant cleaners will be used at the concourse area of each station. All cleaning work will take place during the daylight hours between morning and evening rush periods. “I am a long-time PATCO commuter and know first hand how dirty the stations can get,” said DRPA Vice Chairman Jeffrey L.
