Recent news articles have indicated that SEPTA will no longer be accepting paper transfers. PATCO wants our customers to know that transfers sold in PATCO New Jersey stations will continue to be accepted for travel on the following SEPTA lines: Market-Frankford Line; Broad-Ridge Subways; Subway-Surface Routes 10, 11, 13, 34, and 36; and Bus Routes C, 2, 9, 12, 21, 23, 27, 32, 33, 38, 42, 44, 47, 47M, 48, 61, and 121 from an interchange point with PATCO This program is partially subsidized by PATCO. You can purchase a SEPTA transfer as a stand-alone transaction, or you can purchase your transfer in the same transaction with your paper ticket from the new Automated Vending Machines. The transfer is two separate pieces of paper: 1. Part 1 will be printed with an expiration of 2 hours from the time of purchase. This is for your first SEPTA trip. 2. Part 2 will show an expiration of 24 hours from the time of purchase. This is for your return trip. You may use the Automated Vending Machine outside or inside the paid area. Thank you for helping the environment by taking public transit.
