A new PATCO weekday schedule will go in effect on Monday, August 21. The new schedule mostly affects weekday eastbound departures with 1 to 3-minute time adjustments that account for trains operating at reduced speeds around the Westmont Viaduct track improvement project. PATCO’s weekend schedule remains the same with trains running every 20 minutes on Saturdays and every 30 minutes on Sundays.
August 21 weekday schedule changes include:
1. AM Rush Hours
a. The 7:56 a.m. express westbound departure from Lindenwold will depart one minute later at 7:57 a.m.
b. Between 5:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., eastbound departures from 15/16th & Locust will depart up to 1 to 2 minutes later than the current schedule.
2. Weekday Daytime Service
a. Westbound departure times remain the same as the current schedule.
b. Eastbound departure times between 9:44 a.m. and 2:44 p.m., will depart up to 1 to 2 minutes later than the current schedule.
3. PM Rush Hours and Evening Hours
a. The following westbound departures from Lindenwold will take place:
i. 5:18 P.M. will now depart at 5:19 P.M.
ii. 5:43 P.M. will now depart at 5:44 P.M.
iii. 6:24 P.M. will now depart at 6:22 P.M.
iv. 6:37 P.M. will now depart at 6:38 P.M.
v. 7:18 P.M. will now depart at 7:15 P.M.
b. Between 4:08 p.m. and 7:10 p.m., eastbound departures from 15/16th & Locust will depart up to 1 to 3 minutes later.
Printed timetables will be placed in stations before the new schedule takes effect on August 21. PATCO staff will be in stations Wednesday during the evening rush hours and on Thursday during the morning rush hours to distribute new timetables. To view the schedule now, click here.
