New Weekday Schedule Starts Monday, December 10
PATCO shifts to a new schedule following the end of leaf season
During the leaf season, which began on October 13, PATCO trains between Lindenwold and Philadelphia ran at slightly reduced speeds, adding additional travel time between stations to accommodate slippery rail conditions. When the new schedule goes into effect on Monday, December 10, trains will operate slightly faster with shorter run times between stations.
The schedule changes include:
- AM Rush Hours: The schedule is similar to before the leaf season with minor adjustments (same total number of departures). It is adjusted to account for ridership, as well as faster running times.
- Weekday Daytime Service: Return to trains running every 12-minutes from 9:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
- PM Rush Hours: Like the AM schedule, trains have been adjusted and redistributed to account for ridership and running times. It is similar to the schedule from before the leaf season with the same total number of train departures.
- Evening Hours: Minor changes due to faster running times, but the new schedule remains almost identical to the leaf season schedule after 6:30 p.m.
- Weekends: Weekend service remains the same with no changes.
