LINDENWOLD, N.J. – Delaware Valley residents are encouraged to ride PATCO as a convenient and cost-effective transportation to the Philadelphia Flower Show, which is taking place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center Saturday, February 29 through Sunday, March 8, 2020.
This immensely popular event draws in thousands of people, making transportation and parking a challenge. Attendees who take PATCO to and from the Flower Show can enjoy a convenient drop-off at 8th and Market or 12/13th & Locust Street Stations. Both stations are a short walk away from the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Trains will run every 15 minutes on weekends during show times and parking is free at PATCO station gated and non-gated lots after 10 a.m. There will be a fee for parking between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m. Additionally, children four and younger ride for free. Regular fares apply for all customers aged five and older.
"We want to remind Philadelphia Flower Show attendees to consider PATCO as the most convenient way to get to the city and enjoy the show,” said John D. Rink, General Manager, PATCO.
Special brochures will be available at all PATCO stations with maps to help passengers find their way from the PATCO station at 8th and Market to the Convention Center at 12th and Arch. PATCO staff will be available to assist at the 8th and Market and 12/13th & Locust stations.
