The new schedule adds additional trains during AM and PM rush hours
A new PATCO weekday schedule will take effect on Monday, September 6, with rush hour trains running more frequently. The new schedule continues to provide a high level of service based on the latest ridership statistics.
During the AM rush hours (5:55 a.m.-10:18 a.m.), an additional 11 trips will be added to the schedule, including an extra seven westbound trains to Philadelphia. During AM peak service (6:45 a.m.-8:45 a.m.), the frequencies between trains will be between 5-8 minutes, down from 8-11 minutes.
During the PM rush hours (2:13 p.m.-6:30 p.m.), five additional trips will be added to the schedule, including an extra four eastbound trains to Lindenwold. During the PM peak service (4 p.m.-6 p.m.), trains will run every 4 to 12 minutes.
Overnight and weekend departures will remain the same.
PATCO is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our riders and employees, and these schedule adjustments allow for appropriate social distancing. Face-coverings are still required on all mass transit, including PATCO. The containment of the COVID-19 virus is a shared responsibility, and we all need to do our part.
PATCO is a participating transit system in American Public Transportation Association’s Health & Safety Commitments Program. It continues to honor its pledge to keep riders and employees safe as the nation recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.
