Work is scheduled to begin on Monday June 9th, to repave all the parking lots at the PATCO Woodcrest station in Cherry Hill. In addition to a new coat of asphalt, the project also includes the replacement and repair of deteriorated sidewalks, installation of new curb cuts, installation of new below ground electrical conduit, and pavement striping. It’s expected most of the disruption for those who drive to Woodcrest will come during the first three weeks of the project when work will take place during daylight hours. However, there should be sufficient parking spaces available during construction. Work on the lot that includes parking for the disabled will be scheduled during a weekend. Those passengers requiring a handicapped accessible space will see signage directing them to convenient alternate parking during that weekend. Information will be posted at the Woodcrest Station to provide updates as needed to keep commuters informed about which parking lots will be out of service at any particular time. In addition to PATCO, the DRPA owns and operates the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross Bridges, the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal and the RiverLink Ferry.
