PATCO Urges Seniors And The Disabled To Dump The Pump

Which sounds better, $4 a gallon or less than 75-cents to ride PATCO? Those who have a Medicare card, are 65-years old or are disabled can save money and the environment by riding PATCO. It’s all part of PATCO’S Reduced Fare Program. Those interested in signing up for the “RFP” FREEDOM Card may do so any weekday at PATCO’S Broadway Station between 7am and 7pm. Thursday, June 19th, has been declared “Dump the Pump” Day by the American Public Transportation Association. On this special day, PATCO’S Reduced Fare Program will be available at the Haddonfield Station between 11am and 3pm. PATCO President … John J. Matheussen … says “Seniors and the Disabled can save a lot of money by signing up for the program. “Dump the Pump” Day is an ideal time to promote public transit by bringing the Reduced Fare Program to Haddonfield. Participants can also enjoy shopping and dining just steps away from the Haddonfield Station. The program is linked to PATCO’S FREEDOM Card and the discount is limited to off peak hours.
