PATCO Thanks Its Customers With Drawings For Free Rides

PATCO, which began service between New Jersey and Philadelphia on February 15, 1969, wants to thank its customers for a great 40 years. To mark the anniversary, PATCO begins “40 Days of Thanks”, one day for each year, on February 26th. Customers may enter their names on www.ridepatco.org to win 10 free trips on PATCO. A new winner will be selected during each of the 40 days. Winners will be notified by PATCO. This is part of a year-long celebration marking PATCO’s 40 years of service. The celebration will include rider appreciation days on the fourth Thursday of the month beginning on February 26th. On February 26th Transit Ambassadors and other staff will be at all New Jersey Stations handing out a small token of appreciation between 4:30 and 5:30 pm. Also on the 26th a special celebration making 40-years of service will take place at 10 am at PATCO’s Woodcrest Station in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The Delaware River Port Authority is a regional transportation agency. DRPA owns and operates the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross Bridges, PATCO and the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal. The DRPA also owns the RiverLink Ferry.
