As part of the observance of PATCO’s 40th anniversary, PATCO is asking students in grades 1-12 to take part in a special art contest. Some suggestions include drawing a picture of the best part of your PATCO trip, making a PATCO train come to life or drawing a “wrap” for the outside of a PATCO train. One winner from each grade level (1-12) will receive a $25 gift card. All contest entries must be received by Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 5pm. Visit www.ridepatco.org and click on KidZone for contest details and PATCO photos. This is the latest in a series of yearlong events aimed at celebrating PATCO’s 40th Anniversary. Customers may enter their names on www.ridepatco.org to win 10 free trips on PATCO as part of PATCO’s “40 Days of Thanks.” Also, PATCO has designated the fourth Thursday of the month as a rider appreciation day and customer service representatives will be at a different PATCO station each month between 4:30 and 5:30pm handing out small tokens of appreciation.
