PATCO will host the Red Cross in six stations to help earthquake victims in Haiti

January 25 fundraising effort part of PATCO Cares program
WHAT: With the continued need for support to help the victims of the earthquakes in Haiti, PATCO will be hosting Red Cross representatives in six of its stations for a fundraising drive. The American Red Cross has been leading the US effort in aiding Haiti, and PATCO was eager to provide support for the organization. The in-station fundraising campaign is part of the PATCO Cares program.
“We’ve been very impressed with the generosity and giving spirit of our riders throughout the other PATCO Cares events we’ve had,” says John J. Matheussen, President of PATCO. “Therefore, we wanted to offer our riders a chance to easily get involved in supporting the victims of the terribly tragic earthquakes in Haiti. Like many others, we have seen the pictures and video of the devastation there, and felt compelled to help.”
