DRPA, PATCO Participate in Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day

The Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) and PATCO were proud to participate in the annual "Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day" on April 25, 2019.

The event was held at the PATCO facility in Lindenwold, New Jersey and this year’s theme was "Workforce Development For All!"

It was a great opportunity for the children of employees to learn more about the company that their parents help to make a great place to work!

A total of 130 people, including 75 children, attended the event.

John Hanson, CEO, DRPA and President PATCO and John Rink, General Manager, PATCO welcomed the children to kick-off the event.

Some of the day’s highlights included a mini "PATCO Please Touch Museum," a safety demonstration, a special tour of the train car wash and a train ride to Philadelphia and back to Lindenwold. The children also got the chance to meet an Authority officer and police K9.
