Morning commuters on PATCO will once again have the opportunity to make the holidays a little brighter for the area’s less fortunate. For the 22nd consecutive year, PATCO will be hosting a Holiday Toy Drive. This year’s Toy Drive will take place from Monday, December 1 to Friday, December 12 between 6 and 10 a.m. each weekday. PATCO riders can donate new, unwrapped toys at specially marked containers at each of PATCO’s nine New Jersey stations. The toy drive is organized by the Delaware River Port Authority’s Public Safety Transit Division. This year’s drive will benefit local agencies in Camden, NJ and St. Vincent’s Orphanage in Philadelphia. For questions or information about PATCO call (856) 772 6900 or (215) 922 4600 or visit our website at www.ridepatco.org. In addition to PATCO, the Delaware River Port Authority owns and operates the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross bridges. It also owns and operates the RiverLink Ferry and Philadelphia Cruise Terminal.
