More trains will operate upon completion of a $6 million rail replacement project
Beginning on Saturday, September 2nd, PATCO will be offering more frequent train service. During rush hours, trains will run every 7 minutes instead of the previous 12-minute intervals. The increased service is made possible by the completion of a $6 million rail replacement project. This project involved the replacement of almost three miles of rail between the Ferry Avenue and Broadways Stations over the summer. During the project, trains had to use a single track to traverse the work area.
