DRPA and PATCO are now accepting applications or our paid summer internship program, offering college students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of fields. This program is designed to provide meaningful work experience, professional growth, and a chance to contribute to impactful projects that serve the community.
Internship positions are available in areas such as engineering, finance, public safety, human resources, and more. Approximately 50 interns will be hired this summer, and each intern will have the chance to develop valuable skills, expand their professional network, and explore career paths in a dynamic, collaborative work environment. Interns earn between $17.00 and $23.21 per hour, with a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week for 12 weeks.
The internship program runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day, providing a great opportunity to gain real-world experience while contributing to impactful projects that serve the public.
“Our summer internship program reflects our dedication to developing the next generation of leaders,” said Toni P. Brown, DRPA Chief Administrative Officer at DRPA and PATCO. “By providing hands-on experience and mentorship, we give interns the opportunity to deepen their knowledge, explore their interests, and make a tangible impact on both our organization and the communities we serve. It’s a valuable experience that shapes their growth and ours.”
